I realy liked the Karen Traviss Republic Commando books. Far better Mandalorian lore than in the baby yoda show.

Good post. Have you played empire at war and any of the big mods for it? I've been thinking I've making post about them since a couple of the big mods are currently peak RTS for star wars, which is weird since you'd think star wars would be fertile ground for some really good RTS games given the huge selection of sci fi military equipment

Also I almost got really into star wars books after the original thrawn trilogy, but couldn't make it very far in the x-wing series. I found the character dialogue really grating

I've played EaW some but not the mods.

I would recommend Zahn's other Thrawn stuff if you liked his Legends trilogy.

The AOTR mod is currently Peak and one of the few mods for any game I’d call solid sequel quality to the original experience. The Thrawn’s Revenge mod is also cool for the post Endor Legends setting although mechanically it’s pretty simplistic

I have both the OG Thrawn Trilogy and the first two Darth Bane Books. Though, I might need to reread Heir to the Empire, since it's been awhile. I also dabbled into playing Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy especially and the original Lego Star Wars the Complete Sage is a classic.
